    From the center of Old Bagan, head south on Main Road (the road that runs parallel to the Irrawaddy River). Walk for about 10-15 minutes until you reach the intersection with the road leading to Gawdawpalin Temple. You can recognize the temple's towering structure in the distance. Turn right at the intersection and continue walking for another 5 minutes. The entrance to Gawdawpalin Temple will be on your left.
