Car
If you are driving from Bago, take the Yangon-Bago-Mandalay Highway (also known as the AH1 road). After about 1.5 hours of driving, follow signs for Naypyidaw, which will lead you onto the Naypyidaw road. Continue on this road for approximately 1 hour until you reach Naypyidaw. Once in the city, follow the road signs to Uppatasanti Pagoda, which is located at the end of Rajadhani Road. There is usually no entry fee for the pagoda.

Public Transportation (Bus)
From Bago, catch a bus to Naypyidaw at the central bus station. Buses run frequently throughout the day, and the journey will take around 2-3 hours depending on traffic. Upon arrival at Naypyidaw's main bus station, you can take a taxi to Uppatasanti Pagoda. Taxis are available at the station and should cost around 5,000 to 10,000 kyats (about $3 - $6). Make sure to have the pagoda's name written in Burmese to show the driver: 'ဥပ်ပါတသန်တိစေတီတော်မြတ်ကြီး'.
