If you are traveling by car from Golden Rock, first head towards the town of Kyaiktiyo. From Kyaiktiyo, take the road leading to the main highway and continue towards Mandalay. The drive will take approximately 4-5 hours, depending on traffic. Once you reach Mandalay, navigate towards Mandalay Hill where Su Taung Pyae Pagoda is located. Use a GPS or map application to guide you to the exact coordinates: 22.0148676, 96.1075024. There are parking facilities near the base of Mandalay Hill.

Public Transportation
To reach Su Taung Pyae Pagoda using public transportation, first take a local bus or shared taxi from Golden Rock to Kyaiktiyo bus station. From there, take a bus to Mandalay. Upon arriving in Mandalay, you can either take a taxi directly to Mandalay Hill or use local transportation to reach the base of the hill. The fare for the bus from Kyaiktiyo to Mandalay is approximately 10,000 MMK. Once in Mandalay, expect to pay around 1,500-3,000 MMK for a taxi to the pagoda.

If you prefer to walk after reaching the base of Mandalay Hill, you'll need to ascend on foot. There are well-marked paths leading up to Su Taung Pyae Pagoda.
