Getting There

    If you are driving to Su Taung Pyae Pagoda, start from the center of Magway city. Head north on the main road (Mandalay-Magway Highway) and continue for about 60 kilometers. You will reach Mandalay city. Once in Mandalay, follow signs towards Mandalay Hill. The pagoda is located at the top of the hill, and there is parking available nearby. Be prepared for a short walk uphill to the pagoda itself. Note that parking may incur a small fee.

    To reach Su Taung Pyae Pagoda using public transportation, start at the Magway bus station and take a bus heading to Mandalay. The bus fare is approximately 5,000 MMK. The journey takes around 2 hours. Upon arrival in Mandalay, you can take a taxi or a trishaw to Mandalay Hill. The taxi fare from the bus station to the hill is about 3,000 MMK. Once at the base of Mandalay Hill, you can either walk or take a shuttle service (if available) to the pagoda.
