Getting There

Walking

From the Mandalay Palace, head east on 26th Street towards 83rd Street. Continue walking straight until you reach 83rd Street, then turn left. Walk straight until you reach the intersection with 27th Street. Turn right onto 27th Street. Continue on 27th Street for about 10 minutes until you see the Mahamuni Pagoda on your right.

Find a trishaw (a three-wheeled bicycle taxi) near your location. Tell the driver 'Mahamuni Pagoda' or show them the address: 'Near the Pagoda, Mandalay'. The ride should take around 10-15 minutes depending on traffic. The driver will drop you off right at the entrance of the pagoda.
