Getting There

Walking
If you are starting from the central area of Mandalay, head towards 26th Street. From there, walk north until you reach the intersection with 82nd Street. Turn right onto 82nd Street and continue until you reach the Mandalay Hill entrance. The walk should take about 30-40 minutes. Once at the entrance, you will see a path leading up the hill. Follow the signs to Su Taung Pyae Pagoda, which is located on the hill. Be prepared for a steep hike, as it is located near the summit of Mandalay Hill.

Trishaw
You can hire a trishaw from any point in Mandalay. Ask the driver to take you to the Mandalay Hill entrance. The ride should cost around 2,000 to 3,000 Kyats and take about 15 minutes, depending on traffic. Once you arrive at the entrance, follow the path to Su Taung Pyae Pagoda, which is a short hike from the entrance.

Bike
Rent a bike from one of the many rental shops in Mandalay. Start your journey heading towards 26th Street, then continue north on 82nd Street until you reach the Mandalay Hill entrance. Biking will take about 15-25 minutes depending on your speed. Once at the entrance, park your bike and follow the signs to Su Taung Pyae Pagoda, which is a short hike from there.

Take a local bus heading towards Mandalay Hill. You can catch a bus from various locations in the city, like the main bus station. The fare is very low, around 500 Kyats. Get off at the nearest stop to the Mandalay Hill entrance. From there, you will need to walk up the hill to reach Su Taung Pyae Pagoda.
