Walking
If you are starting from the Mandalay Palace, exit the palace grounds and head south towards 26th Street. Turn left onto 26th Street and continue walking until you reach the junction with 66th Street. From here, turn right onto 66th Street and head west. Follow 66th Street until it merges into 27th Street. Keep walking until you see the turnoff for Mandalay Hill on your right. Follow the signs to the base of Mandalay Hill.

Once at the base of Mandalay Hill, you will find a stairway leading up. The climb can be steep, so take your time and enjoy the views as you ascend. Along the way, you'll encounter various shrines and viewpoints. Continue until you reach the top, where you will find Su Taung Pyae Pagoda. It’s a prominent landmark with stunning views of Mandalay and the surrounding area.

If you're at the city center, you can take a trishaw to Mandalay Hill. Head to the nearest trishaw stand, or flag one down on the street. Tell the driver you want to go to Mandalay Hill; they will know the location well. The ride should take around 15-20 minutes depending on traffic. Once you arrive at the base of Mandalay Hill, you will need to walk up the stairway to reach Su Taung Pyae Pagoda.
