Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from the Naypyidaw City Hall, head east on Naypyidaw Road towards the intersection with Hotel Zone Road. Continue straight for about 1 kilometer until you reach the junction with Pobbathiri Road. Turn left onto Pobbathiri Road and walk for about 1.5 kilometers. You will see the Uppatasanti Pagoda on your right. The pagoda is a prominent structure and should be easily visible from the road.

  • Walking

    Starting from the Myanmar International Convention Centre (MICC), exit towards the main road (Naypyidaw Road). Walk north for approximately 1 kilometer until you reach the traffic lights at the intersection with Naypyidaw University Road. Cross the road and continue straight to Pobbathiri Road. Turn right and walk for about 500 meters until you see Uppatasanti Pagoda on your left.

  • Walking

    From the Sule Pagoda area, head south towards Naypyidaw Road. Once you reach Naypyidaw Road, turn right and walk for about 1.2 kilometers, passing by several government buildings. When you reach the junction with Pobbathiri Road, turn left and continue walking straight for about 1 kilometer until you reach Uppatasanti Pagoda on your right.

  • Bicycle

    If you prefer to bicycle from the Naypyidaw Central Park, exit the park and head east towards Naypyidaw Road. Once on Naypyidaw Road, turn left and cycle for about 2 kilometers. You will then turn right onto Pobbathiri Road. Continue for another 1 kilometer, and Uppatasanti Pagoda will be visible on your left.
