Start your journey from the center of Pyay, specifically from the Pyay Railway Station. Exit the station and head south on Pyay-Myanmar Road. Continue walking straight for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the intersection with Yangon-Pyay Road (also known as Yangon-Pyay Highway). Turn left onto Yangon-Pyay Road and walk approximately 1 kilometer. Keep an eye out for the signs directing you to Shwesandaw Pagoda. The pagoda will be located on your right-hand side, just off the main road.

If you have access to a bicycle, start from the center of Pyay, preferably near the Pyay Railway Station. Head south on Pyay-Myanmar Road for about 1.5 kilometers. When you reach the intersection with Yangon-Pyay Road, turn left. Continue cycling for about 1 kilometer until you see the signs for Shwesandaw Pagoda on your right. The pagoda is easily accessible via the side path leading off from the main road.
