If you are driving from Sagaing, head south on the Sagaing-Mandalay Road (also known as Highway 1). Follow the road for approximately 12 kilometers until you reach the junction at Mandalay. From there, take a right turn onto 26th Street and continue straight until you reach the intersection with 83rd Street. Turn left onto 83rd Street, and after a short drive, you will see Kyauktawgyi Pagoda located on your right at V3V7+MVG, Mandalay. There is parking available nearby.

To reach Kyauktawgyi Pagoda using public transport, take a local bus from Sagaing to Mandalay. Buses frequently depart from Sagaing's bus station and the journey takes about 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive at the Mandalay bus station, you can take a taxi or a trishaw to the pagoda. Tell the driver to take you to V3V7+MVG, and they should be familiar with the location. The taxi ride will take around 15-20 minutes depending on traffic.
