Walking
From the city center of Sittwe, head west on Strand Road. Continue walking for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the intersection with Mahamuni Road. Turn left onto Mahamuni Road and walk for another 500 meters. You will see the entrance to Mahamuni Buddhist Temple on your right.
Bicycle
Rent a bicycle from one of the many rental shops in Sittwe. Head west on Strand Road and continue for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the intersection with Mahamuni Road. Turn left onto Mahamuni Road and cycle for another 500 meters. The entrance to Mahamuni Buddhist Temple will be on your right.
Motorcycle Taxi
Hail a motorcycle taxi from the city center of Sittwe. Inform the driver that you want to go to Mahamuni Buddhist Temple. The driver will take you directly to the temple entrance, which is located on Mahamuni Road.
