Getting There

• Car

  To reach Pa La-U Waterfall by car from Dawei, head north on the Dawei-Myeik Road (also known as Highway 9). After approximately 90 km, take a left turn onto the road leading to the waterfall. Continue for about 20 km until you reach the entrance of the waterfall. There may be a small entrance fee to access the area, so keep some cash ready. The total journey should take around 2 to 3 hours, depending on traffic.

• Public Transportation

  From Dawei, take a shared taxi or bus heading towards Myeik. Inform the driver to drop you off at the turn-off for Pa La-U Waterfall, which is approximately 90 km from Dawei. This part of the journey will take about 2 hours. Once you arrive at the turn-off, you may need to hire a motorbike taxi or walk the remaining 20 km to the waterfall entrance. Ensure you have enough cash for the entrance fee once you reach the waterfall.

• Motorbike

  For the more adventurous, renting a motorbike in Dawei is a great option. Follow the same route as if you were in a car, heading north on the Dawei-Myeik Road. After about 90 km, take the left turn towards Pa La-U Waterfall and continue for around 20 km. Riding a motorbike offers the flexibility to explore the scenic routes, but be cautious of the road conditions. Entrance fees will also apply upon arrival.
