Getting There

• Public Bus

  From any hotel or accommodation in Hua Hin, make your way to the Hua Hin Bus Station located at 2/1 Soi 51, Phetkasem Road. You can take a tuk-tuk or walk if you're close enough. Look for a bus heading towards Khao Takiab. The fare is usually around 10-20 THB. Once you board, inform the driver that you want to get off at 'Wat Huay Mongkol' as it is the closest stop to the Reclining Buddha. The ride will take approximately 20-30 minutes. From the bus stop, walk towards the temple area, and you'll see the Reclining Buddha on your right.

• Tuk-Tuk

  If you prefer a more direct route, you can hire a tuk-tuk from your location in Hua Hin. Simply ask your accommodation for help in calling one, or you can find tuk-tuks around popular tourist areas. Negotiate the fare before getting in; it should be around 200-300 THB for a one-way trip to the Reclining Buddha. Ask the driver to take you to 'Wat Huay Mongkol' as it is the closest landmark to the Reclining Buddha. The ride will take about 15-20 minutes depending on traffic.

• Bicycle Rental

  For the more adventurous, consider renting a bicycle. There are many rental shops around Hua Hin, and the cost is typically around 50-100 THB per day. From the center of Hua Hin, cycle south on Phetkasem Road towards Khao Takiab. The journey is approximately 10 km. Look for signs directing you to 'Wat Huay Mongkol'. Once you arrive, park your bike at the temple entrance and walk towards the Reclining Buddha. This route will offer you scenic views along the way.
