If you're traveling by car, you will first need to reach Mrauk-U. From Sittwe, head northeast on the 4WD accessible road. The drive takes approximately 4-5 hours, depending on road conditions. Once in Mrauk-U, navigate to H6X6+899 using a GPS or map. The Koe Thaung Pagoda is located just a short distance from the main town center.
Public Transportation (Bus)
To utilize public transportation, take a bus from Sittwe to Mrauk-U. The bus station in Sittwe is located near the center of town. Buses run frequently throughout the day, and the journey takes about 4-5 hours, costing around 5,000-10,000 MMK.
