Getting There

• Car

  If you are traveling by car, start from Mandalay or any other major city in Upper Myanmar. Use a GPS app to navigate to FRJG+M85, Taunggyi, which is the address for Kayan Matyrs' Mausoleum. As you approach Taunggyi, look for signs directing you to the mausoleum. Parking is usually available near the entrance, and there is no parking fee.

• Bus

  For those taking public transportation, catch a bus to Taunggyi from Mandalay or Inle Lake. The bus station in Mandalay is located in the downtown area. Once you arrive at the Taunggyi bus station, you can take a local taxi or a motorbike taxi to reach Kayan Matyrs' Mausoleum at FRJG+M85. The taxi fare should be around 1,000 to 2,000 kyats depending on negotiation.

• Motorbike Taxi

  If you prefer a quicker option after arriving in Taunggyi, you can hire a motorbike taxi from the bus station. Show the driver the address (FRJG+M85) or mention Kayan Matyrs' Mausoleum. Fares typically range from 1,500 to 3,000 kyats. Be sure to negotiate the price before starting the ride.

  If you are already in the vicinity of Kayan Matyrs' Mausoleum, and it's not too far, consider walking. Follow local signs or ask for directions, as locals are usually helpful. The mausoleum is in a park area, and there are paths leading up to it.
