Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from the Sule Pagoda, head south on Sule Pagoda Rd. After about 500 meters, turn left onto Mahabandoola Rd. Walk straight until you reach the intersection with Natmauk Rd. Turn right onto Natmauk Rd and continue for about 1 kilometer until you reach the intersection with Kan Yeik Tha Rd. Turn left onto Kan Yeik Tha Rd, and after 500 meters, you will see the entrance to Kandawgyi Park on your right.

    Starting from the Bogyoke Aung San Market, exit the market and head north on Bogyoke Rd. After about 300 meters, turn left onto Sule Pagoda Rd and continue for another 300 meters. From there, turn right onto Mahabandoola Rd and follow it until it meets Natmauk Rd. Turn right onto Natmauk Rd and continue walking for approximately 1 kilometer. At the intersection with Kan Yeik Tha Rd, turn left, and Kandawgyi Park will be on your right after 500 meters.

    If you are near the Yangon River, head east towards Strand Rd. Walk along Strand Rd until you reach the intersection with 24th St. Turn left onto 24th St and continue for about 1 kilometer. Then turn right onto Maha Bandoola Rd and walk until you reach the intersection with Natmauk Rd. Turn left onto Natmauk Rd and walk for about 1 kilometer. At the junction with Kan Yeik Tha Rd, turn left, and you'll find Kandawgyi Park on your right after approximately 500 meters.
