Getting There

• Walking

  If you are starting from the Sule Pagoda, head south on Sule Pagoda Road towards the intersection with Maha Bandula Park Street. Continue straight for about 500 meters until you reach the roundabout. Take the first exit on the right onto Maha Bandula Park Street. Maha Bandula Park will be on your left after you walk about 200 meters.

• Public Transport (Bus)

  From Bogyoke Aung San Market, walk to the nearest bus stop and catch a bus heading towards downtown Yangon. Look for bus numbers that go along Anawyahtar Road or Maha Bandula Park Street (e.g., bus number 20). After a short ride, disembark at the stop closest to Maha Bandula Park. The park will be a short walk from the bus stop, just head down Maha Bandula Park Street.

• Walking

  If you are at the Yangon City Hall, exit the building and head west on Mahabandoola Road. Continue straight for about 300 meters until you reach Maha Bandula Park. The park will be on your right side.

• Public Transport (Taxi)

  If you're near the Shwedagon Pagoda, you can take a taxi to Maha Bandula Park. Just tell the driver 'Maha Bandula Park' or show them the address: 261, 263 Maha Bandula Park St. The ride should take around 15-20 minutes depending on traffic. Once you arrive, you will find the entrance to the park right off the street.
