If you are starting from Sule Pagoda, head west on Sule Pagoda Road until you reach the intersection with Anawrahta Road. Turn right onto Anawrahta Road and continue straight. You will pass several local shops and restaurants. When you reach the intersection with Aung Yadana Street, turn left. Continue walking straight, and you will soon see Thakhin Mya Park on your right.

From Bogyoke Aung San Market, walk to the nearest bus stop and catch Bus 42, which goes towards Dagon. Stay on the bus for about 20 minutes until you reach the stop at Aung Yadana Street. Disembark the bus and walk a short distance towards the park, which will be on your right.

If you prefer cycling, rent a bicycle from one of the local rental shops. Start from the Yangon River and cycle towards Strand Road. Follow Strand Road until you reach the intersection with Anawrahta Road. Turn left onto Anawrahta Road and then take another left onto Aung Yadana Street. Continue cycling until you reach Thakhin Mya Park, which will be on your right.
