If you are in Downtown Yangon, one of the easiest ways to reach U Thant House is to walk. Start your journey at Sule Pagoda, a central landmark in Downtown Yangon. From Sule Pagoda, head southwest on Maha Bandoola Road towards the intersection with Inya Road. Continue on Inya Road for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach Panwa Lane. Turn left onto Panwa Lane and you will find U Thant House at No.31, Panwa Lane on your right. The walk should take around 20-25 minutes, depending on your pace.

Public Transport (Bus)
If you prefer to take public transport, you can catch a local bus from Downtown Yangon. Head to the nearest bus stop at the corner of Mahabandoola Road and Anawrahta Road. Look for bus number 34 or 54, which goes towards Inya Lake. Get off at the stop near Inya Road (ask the driver or locals if unsure). From the bus stop, walk about 10 minutes down Inya Road, and then take a left onto Panwa Lane. U Thant House will be on your right at No.31. The bus fare is approximately 200-300 kyats.
