Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are in the Hlaing neighborhood, the most straightforward way to get to ပြည်သူ့ဥယျာဉ် is to walk. Start from the central area of Hlaing, such as near the Hlaing Railway Station. Head south on Hlaing Road, which is a major thoroughfare. Continue walking for approximately 1.5 kilometers until you reach the intersection with Kaba Aye Pagoda Road. Turn left onto Kaba Aye Pagoda Road and walk for another 500 meters. You will see the entrance to the park on your right. The walk may take around 25 to 30 minutes, depending on your pace.

  • Bicycle

    For a more enjoyable experience, consider renting a bicycle. There are several rental shops in Hlaing. Once you have a bicycle, start from the Hlaing Railway Station and head south along Hlaing Road. After about 1.5 kilometers, turn left onto Kaba Aye Pagoda Road. Continue straight for about 500 meters, and you will find the entrance to ပြည်သူ့ဥယျာဉ် on your right. The cycling trip should take approximately 15 to 20 minutes.

    If you prefer to use public transport, you can take a bus. From your location in Hlaing, find a bus stop along Hlaing Road. Look for bus number 36 or 45, which goes towards Kaba Aye Pagoda. Board the bus and ask the conductor to notify you when you reach the stop for Kaba Aye Pagoda. The bus ride will take about 10 to 15 minutes, and the fare is typically around 200 MMK. Once you get off, walk about 5 minutes along Kaba Aye Pagoda Road to reach the entrance of the park.
