To reach Shinyungwe by public transportation from Rundu, you can take a local taxi (commonly referred to as a 'kombie') heading towards the Kavango region. Ask the driver to drop you off near the C48 junction. From there, you may need to walk or arrange for a local taxi to take you the remaining distance to Shinyungwe. Be sure to confirm the total fare before starting your journey. Expect to pay around 50 Namibian Dollars for the taxi ride from Rundu to the junction and an additional fare for the last leg of your journey.
