Car
If you are traveling by car, start from the town of Rundu, which is a major point in Kavango. Get onto the B10 road heading east towards Divundu. Continue on the B10 for approximately 120 kilometers until you reach the junction with the D3602 road. Turn left onto the D3602 road and drive for about 15 kilometers. You will see signs for Mahangu Safari Lodge. Follow these signs until you arrive at the lodge, which is located on the banks of the Okavango River.
Public Transportation
For those using public transport, you can take a minibus taxi from Rundu to Divundu. The fare is typically around 50 Namibian Dollars (NAD). Once in Divundu, you will need to hire a local taxi to take you the remaining 15 kilometers to Mahangu Safari Lodge. Expect to pay around 200 NAD for this taxi ride. Make sure to confirm the fare before starting your journey.
Combination of Car and Boat
If you are looking for a unique experience, consider driving to Divundu and then taking a boat from there to the lodge.
