If you are driving from Rundu in Kavango, start by heading west on B8 road towards the border with Botswana. After approximately 130 km, you will reach the border post at Ngoma. Ensure you have your passport and any required visas. Cross into Botswana and continue on the A33 road. After about 75 km, you will reach the town of Kasane. From Kasane, follow signs towards Chobe National Park and then take the A35 road south. This road will take you toward the Okavango Delta. Note that the distance from Kasane to the delta can vary based on your specific destination within the delta; plan for an additional 100 km or more. Fuel costs and possible border fees should be taken into consideration.
