From the center of Lüderitz, start at the Lüderitz Waterfront. Head southeast along the main road, B4, towards the direction of the airport. Continue walking for about 2 kilometers until you reach the junction with the D2065 road. At this junction, you will see a sign for the Aussenkehr Nature Reserve. Turn left onto D2065 and follow the road for approximately 8 kilometers. As you walk, be mindful of the occasional vehicle traffic. You will pass by some scenic views of the Namibian desert and coastal landscape. Eventually, you will see signs leading to Wadi Zighen. The entrance is marked, and from here, follow the path that leads into the nature preserve.

Rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Lüderitz. Start at the Lüderitz Waterfront and cycle southeast along the B4 road. Keep an eye on the road signs as you approach the junction with D2065. Turn left onto D2065 and continue cycling for about 8 kilometers. The ride is relatively flat, but you may encounter some sandy sections. As you near Wadi Zighen, look for the entrance sign. Lock your bike at the designated area and proceed on foot into the preserve.
