Car
If you are driving, head towards Sossusvlei from the main road (C19). Once you reach the Sossusvlei entrance gate, you will need to pay an entrance fee (around NAD 80 per person) for entry into the Namib-Naukluft National Park. Continue on the gravel road for about 60 kilometers until you reach the parking area for Sossusvlei. From the parking area, follow the signs to Hidden Vlei, which is approximately a 30-minute walk through the picturesque dunes.

If you do not have a car, you can take a shuttle or tour bus from Windhoek to Sossusvlei. Several companies offer this service, and it usually includes a stop at the park entrance. Make sure to arrange for a tour that includes the possibility of visiting Hidden Vlei, as some might only go to Sossusvlei. Once you arrive at the parking area in Sossusvlei, you will still need to walk to Hidden Vlei, which takes about 30 minutes.
