If you are starting from the Okahandja town center, head west on the main road, B1. Walk for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the intersection with the C32 road. Continue straight, and you will see signs for the German Fort. As you approach the area, look for the local market on your right; the fort is located just past it. It should take approximately 20-25 minutes to reach your destination.
Bicycle
Rent a bicycle from a local shop in Okahandja. Start at the town center and cycle west along the B1 road. Follow the same route as for walking, but you can take a shortcut by riding through the local market area if it's not too crowded. This route is approximately 1.5 kilometers and should take around 10-15 minutes by bike.

Look for a local minibus taxi heading towards the C32 road. Board the taxi and request to be dropped off near the German Fort. The ride should take about 10 minutes, depending on traffic. Once you get off, the fort will be a short walk away, just follow the signs pointing to the tourist attractions.
