Getting There

• Walking

  If you are in the center of Okahandja, start at the Okahandja Tourism Information Centre located on the main road (B1). Head south on the B1 for approximately 1.2 kilometers. You will pass several shops and local eateries. Keep an eye out for the large sign indicating the entrance to the church area. When you reach the intersection at the traffic lights, turn left onto a smaller road. Continue walking for about 500 meters, and you will see the Rheinische Missionskirche on your right side, marked by its distinctive architecture.

• Bicycle

  Rent a bicycle from one of the local rental shops in Okahandja. Start from the main market area and head towards the B1 road. Cycle south on the B1 for about 1.2 kilometers. After passing the shops, keep an eye out for the large sign for the church. At the traffic lights, make a left turn into the smaller road. Continue cycling for another 500 meters, and you will find the Rheinische Missionskirche on your right. There are bike racks available for you to secure your bicycle.

• Public Transportation

  Look for a local minibus taxi that is heading towards the southern parts of Okahandja. Board the minibus at the main taxi rank in the city center. Inform the driver that you want to get off at the church area. The fare is usually minimal, around 5 Namibian dollars. Once you arrive at the intersection near the church area, walk about 500 meters down the road, and you will see the Rheinische Missionskirche on your right.
