Car
To reach NamibRand Nature Reserve from Oshana by car, start by heading south on the B1 highway from Oshana towards Windhoek. Continue on the B1 for about 300 kilometers until you reach the junction with the C27 road near the town of Keetmanshoop. Turn left onto the C27 and follow the signs towards the NamibRand Nature Reserve. The reserve is approximately 150 kilometers down the C27. Keep an eye out for the NamibRand sign, as the entrance is marked clearly. Note that a park entrance fee may apply, so be prepared for that cost.
Public Transportation
If you prefer public transportation, you can take a long-distance bus from Oshana to Windhoek. Several bus companies operate this route. Once in Windhoek, you will need to find a shuttle service or taxi that can take you to the NamibRand Nature Reserve. This may require advance booking, especially during peak tourist season. Be aware that the total travel time may exceed 8 hours, and costs will vary depending on the bus service and shuttle arrangements.
