Car
If you are driving from the center of Oshikoto, head east on the B1 road towards Olukonda. Continue on the B1 for approximately 25 kilometers. Look for signs indicating Olukonda; you will turn right onto a smaller road leading into the village. As you enter Olukonda, follow the road until you see signs for Nakambale Museum. It will be on your left side. Parking is available near the museum.
Public Transportation
To reach Nakambale Museum via public transportation, find a local taxi or minibus heading towards Olukonda from the Oshikoto main taxi rank. The fare should be around N$30 per person. Inform the driver that you would like to get off near Nakambale Museum. Once you arrive in Olukonda, it’s a short walk to the museum, which should be visible as you approach the main area of the village. Make sure to ask locals for directions if needed.
