Walking
If you are starting in the center of Rundu, head north on the main road, known as Andimba Toivo ya Toivo Street. Continue walking for approximately 1.5 kilometers until you reach the intersection with River Road. At this intersection, turn right onto River Road. Keep walking straight for about 3 kilometers. You will pass several local shops and residential areas. As you approach the Mbunza Living Museum, look for signs indicating the direction. The museum will be located on your left at Tsufart Hakuzembe, River Road.
Bicycle
For those who prefer cycling, start in the downtown area of Rundu and ride north along Andimba Toivo ya Toivo Street. After about 1.5 kilometers, take a right turn onto River Road. Continue cycling for approximately 3 kilometers. You will pass through a mix of local attractions and residential neighborhoods. The Mbunza Living Museum will be on your left side, and you can easily spot it by its signage and the cultural activities happening outside.
Public Transport
To reach the Mbunza Living Museum via public transport, locate the nearest bus stop in Rundu. Look for a minibus heading towards the direction of Tsufart Hakuzembe. You may need to ask locals for assistance in finding the right minibus as routes can change. Once on the minibus, inform the driver that you are heading to Mbunza Living Museum. The minibus will drop you off near River Road. From there, walk approximately 500 meters along River Road, and the museum will be on your left.
