Getting There

Car
From your location along the Skeleton Coast, head southeast towards the town of Henties Bay. Take the C34 road, which runs parallel to the coast. After approximately 80 km, you’ll reach the town of Uis. Continue on the C35 road until you reach the junction with the C38 road. Turn onto the C38 and follow it until you reach the Etosha National Park entrance at Anderson Gate. Once inside the park, follow the signs to Okaukuejo, which is about 17 km from the entrance. Expect to pay an entrance fee to the park, which is approximately 80 NAD for adults and 40 NAD for children.

Public Transportation
To reach Okaukuejo from Skeleton Coast using public transport, start by taking a bus from Swakopmund to Outjo. Buses operate several times a day and will take about 5-6 hours. From Outjo, you can catch a shuttle service or a taxi to the Okaukuejo entrance of Etosha National Park. Shuttle services may need to be arranged in advance and typically cost around 200-300 NAD per person. Upon reaching the entrance, you will need to pay the entrance fee to the park, which is approximately 80 NAD for adults and 40 NAD for children, before continuing to Okaukuejo.
