Experience the Charm of Swakopmund Mole

Getting There

• Walking

  If you are starting from the Swakopmund Jetty, head east along the beach for approximately 1 kilometer. You will pass several small beachside cafes and restaurants. Continue walking until you reach the end of the beach where the sand meets the rocky area leading to the Mole.

• Public Transport (Bicycle Rental)

  Rent a bicycle from one of the local rental shops in the city center. Once you have your bike, head toward Strand Street and continue straight. Strand Street will lead you directly to the beach. Once at the beach, turn left and ride along the beachfront path toward the Mole, which is approximately 2 kilometers away.

• Walking

  From the Swakopmund town center (near the Swakopmund Museum), walk towards the beach along the main road, which is Theo-Ben Gurirab Avenue. As you approach the coast, the road will turn into Strand Street. Follow Strand Street until you reach the beach. Turn left and walk along the beach for about 1 kilometer toward the Mole.

• Taxi

  If you prefer to take a taxi, you can easily find one near major hotels or the town center. Inform the driver that you want to go to Swakopmund Mole. The journey should take approximately 10 minutes, and the driver will drop you off right at the entrance to the Mole area.
