Getting There

    If you are in Walvis Bay, you can rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in town. Start your journey from the center of Walvis Bay, heading towards the waterfront. Ride along the main road, which is Strand Street, and follow the signs towards the Dune 7 area. After about 10 kilometers, you will see signs directing you to Dune 7 on your right. Continue riding until you reach the entrance, where you can park your bike and begin your hike up the dune.

    For those who prefer walking, you can start from the central area of Walvis Bay. Head towards the Walvis Bay Lagoon and follow the paths along the lagoon shoreline. After approximately 5 kilometers, you will reach the main road (B2). From there, turn left and walk along the road for another 5 kilometers until you see signs for Dune 7.
