Car
If you are traveling by car from Zambezi, head towards Katima Mulilo. Follow the B8 road north for approximately 70 kilometers until you reach the Zambezi River border. Cross the river at the Kazungula border post into Botswana. Once in Botswana, continue on the A33 road for about 60 kilometers, which will take you to the entrance of Chobe National Park. Ensure you have your passport and any necessary visas ready for border crossing. There may be a small fee for crossing the border.
Public Transport
For public transportation, take a bus or shared taxi from Zambezi to Katima Mulilo. Buses are available at designated stops and the journey takes about 1 hour. Upon reaching Katima Mulilo, you can find local transport options such as taxis or minibuses heading to Kazungula. The fare to Kazungula is relatively low, around 30 Namibian dollars. At Kazungula, you will need to cross the border into Botswana, which may incur a small crossing fee. Once in Botswana, you can catch a taxi or bus to Chobe National Park, which is about 60 kilometers away.
