Car
If you are traveling by car within Zambezi, head towards Katima Mulilo. From the center of Katima Mulilo, take the B8 road heading north towards the Ngoma Border Post. Continue on the B8 for approximately 70 km. Once you reach the Ngoma Border Gate, look for the signs indicating Chobe River Camp on your right. The camp is located just off the main road.
Public Transportation
For public transportation, you can catch a minibus taxi from Katima Mulilo to the Ngoma Border Post. The taxis usually depart from designated taxi ranks in Katima Mulilo. The fare is typically around 50 Namibian Dollars (NAD). Once you arrive at the Ngoma Border Post, you can either walk to Chobe River Camp (approximately 2 km) or arrange for a local taxi to take you there. Be sure to confirm the fare before getting in.
Walking
If you prefer to walk from the Ngoma Border Post to Chobe River Camp, exit the border post and head south on the main road (B8). Follow the road for about 2 km, and you will find the entrance to Chobe River Camp on your left. Please take care while walking as traffic can be busy, and it is advisable to walk during daylight hours.
Taxi
If you're already at the Ngoma Border Post and prefer a more direct route, you can hire a local taxi to take you to Chobe River Camp. The fare should be negotiated beforehand, but expect to pay around 100 to 150 NAD for the short trip, which should take about 5-10 minutes.
