Car
If you're driving, start by heading east on the main road from any location in Buada District. Follow the signs towards the Buada Lagoon area, and continue straight. You will pass several local homes and small businesses. Keep an eye out for the signs directing you to Command Ridge. As you approach the area, you'll notice a slight incline. The road may become less paved, but continue to follow it until you reach the parking area at the base of Command Ridge. There are no parking fees.
Public Transportation
To reach Command Ridge via public transportation, look for local buses or shared taxis that operate within Buada District. Ask the driver to drop you off at the nearest point to Command Ridge. Most drivers are familiar with the area and can guide you appropriately. The fare should be relatively inexpensive, usually around 5 to 10 AUD. Once you are dropped off, you may have to walk a short distance uphill to reach the base of Command Ridge. Be prepared for a little bit of a trek.
Walking
If you are already in Buada District and prefer to walk, locate the main road and head towards the Buada Lagoon. From there, continue to follow the path that leads towards the hills. It is about a 30-45 minute walk depending on your pace. The terrain may be uneven, so wear comfortable shoes. As you approach Command Ridge, the path will lead you to the base where you can start your ascent.
