Walking
Start from the North Platte River Park, located at 301 E 4th St, North Platte, NE 69101. Head east on 4th St towards the intersection with Jeffers St. Turn left onto Jeffers St and walk north until you reach the intersection with 1st St. Turn right onto 1st St and continue heading east. After approximately half a mile, you will cross the North Platte River. Continue straight as the road becomes Unnamed Road, following the riverbank. After about 0.3 miles, you will arrive at the confluence of the North Platte and South Platte Rivers, marked by a natural area where the rivers meet.
Biking
If you have a bike, you can start at the North Platte River Park, located at 301 E 4th St, North Platte, NE 69101. From there, take the bike path heading east along the North Platte River. Continue on the path, enjoying the scenic views, until you reach the intersection with Jeffers St. Turn left onto Jeffers St and continue north. Once you reach 1st St, turn right and head east. As you approach the river, follow the road as it curves along the riverbank. After approximately 1 mile, you will arrive at the confluence of the North Platte and South Platte Rivers.
Public Transport
Currently, there are no direct public transport options to the N. Platte-S. Platte River Confluence. However, you can take the North Platte Transit bus to the nearest stop at the North Platte River Park (301 E 4th St). From there, you can walk or bike to the confluence. Walk east on 4th St, turn left onto Jeffers St, and follow the described walking directions to the confluence.
