Getting There

  • Walking

    If you're starting from the North Platte Public Library located at 120 W 4th St, head west on 4th St for about four blocks until you reach the intersection with Halligan Dr. Turn left (south) onto Halligan Dr and continue for about half a mile. The North Platte Visitor Center will be on your left at 101 Halligan Dr.

  • Bicycle

    From the North Platte River Trail entrance at Cody Park, follow the trail north along the river. After about a mile, take the exit towards Halligan Dr. Cycle east on Halligan Dr for about 0.5 miles. The North Platte Visitor Center will be on your right at 101 Halligan Dr.

  • Public Transit

    If you are at the North Platte Transit Station, take the Route 1 bus towards the South Side. Get off at the Halligan Dr stop. From there, walk south for about 0.3 miles on Halligan Dr. The North Platte Visitor Center is located at 101 Halligan Dr on your left.
