The drive to Bidur, where Nuwakot Palace is located, takes about 2.5 to 3 hours, depending on traffic. Once you reach Bidur, follow the signs to Nuwakot Sadak. The palace is approximately 5 km from the main road and is well-marked. You can park your car near the entrance of the palace.

    To reach Nuwakot Palace using public transportation, take a bus from Kathmandu to Bidur. Buses depart from the Gongabu Bus Park at regular intervals throughout the day. The fare is around NPR 250-400, and the journey takes approximately 3 hours. Once you arrive at Bidur, you can take a local taxi or a motorcycle taxi to Nuwakot Palace, which is about 5 km away.
