• Car

  If you are traveling by car, start your journey from Kathmandu. Take the Araniko Highway (also known as the Kathmandu-Lhasa Highway). Continue for approximately 20 km until you reach Bhaktapur. Then, follow the signs to Nagarkot, which is about 12 km away. Once you reach Nagarkot, look for the signs directing you to Mahamanjushree Nagarkot. The Bojinee Dam is located near the coordinates MFVX+74, Mahamanjushree Nagarkot. Park your vehicle in the nearby designated parking area and proceed on foot to the dam.

• Public Transportation

  To reach Bojinee Dam using public transportation, start at the Ratna Park Bus Terminal in Kathmandu. Board a local bus heading towards Bhaktapur. The fare is approximately NPR 50. After about 30 minutes, get off at Bhaktapur and transfer to a local bus that goes to Nagarkot (fare around NPR 100). The bus ride will take about 1 hour. Once you arrive in Nagarkot, ask locals for directions to Mahamanjushree Nagarkot. The Bojinee Dam is located at MFVX+74, which is a short walk from the bus stop. You may need to hire a local taxi for the last stretch, costing around NPR 300-500.

• Taxi

  If you prefer a more direct route, consider hiring a taxi from Kathmandu. The fare will typically range from NPR 2000 to NPR 3000 depending on your negotiation skills. The taxi will take you directly to Bojinee Dam, and you can enjoy the scenic views along the way. Make sure to specify the destination as MFVX+74, Mahamanjushree Nagarkot.
