The Rapti River Viewpoint is approximately 10 kilometers from Sauraha, which will take about 20-30 minutes depending on road conditions. Look for local signage indicating the viewpoint as you approach Jagatpur. You can park your car near the viewpoint.

From Sauraha, take a local bus heading towards Narayani or Jagatpur. Buses are frequent and cost around NPR 50-100 per person. Inform the bus conductor that you wish to go to the Rapti River Viewpoint. The bus will drop you off at the nearest stop in Jagatpur. From there, you will need to walk approximately 1 kilometer to reach the viewpoint. Follow the local paths and look for signage to guide you.

For a more direct route, you can hire a rickshaw or a taxi from Sauraha to take you to the Rapti River Viewpoint.
