Car
If you're traveling by car from Chitwan National Park, head west towards the Madi Municipality. Follow the signs to Madi and drive along the Prithvi Highway (Himalayan Highway) for approximately 15 kilometers. Once you reach Madi, look for the local signs pointing towards Baikuntha Taal. The lake is situated a few kilometers from the town center. You may need to park your vehicle and walk the remaining distance, as the road may not be accessible for all vehicles.
Public Transportation
To reach Baikuntha Taal via public transportation, catch a local bus from Sauraha or Bharatpur to Madi. Buses run frequently throughout the day, and the fare is generally around NPR 50-100. Upon arriving in Madi, you can take a local taxi or a rickshaw to get closer to Baikuntha Taal. Make sure to negotiate the fare beforehand; it usually ranges from NPR 200-500 depending on the distance.
Walking
If you prefer to experience the local scenery, you can walk the last part of the journey. From Madi town, follow the signs or ask locals for directions to Baikuntha Taal.
