Getting There

• Car

  If you are traveling by car, head towards Sauraha from any location in Chitwan Valley. Follow the signs towards Chitwan National Park. Once you reach Sauraha, look for the main road that runs through the town. Continue driving until you see a sign for Bachhauli. Turn onto this road and keep following it until you reach the Chitwan Forest Resort located at Sauraha, Bachhauli - 2. The resort is situated near the river and is easily identifiable.

• Public Transportation (Bus)

  From your location in Chitwan Valley, find a local bus heading to Sauraha. Buses frequently depart from various points in the valley, particularly from Bharatpur or Narayanghat. The fare is generally affordable, around 50-100 NPR depending on your starting point. Once you arrive in Sauraha, disembark at the main bus stop. From there, you can either walk or take a local rickshaw to Bachhauli. Inform the driver that you want to go to Chitwan Forest Resort; it is a well-known destination.

• Rickshaw

  If you are already in Sauraha, you can hire a local rickshaw to take you directly to Chitwan Forest Resort. Agree on a fare before you start the journey; typically, the cost is around 200-300 NPR. The drivers are familiar with the area and can take you straight to the resort. Simply tell them you want to go to Sauraha, Bachhauli - 2, near Chitwan National Park.

• Walking

  If you are already in Sauraha and prefer to walk, it is about a 20-30 minute walk to Chitwan Forest Resort. Start from the main street in Sauraha, and head towards the river. Keep walking along the riverbank until you see signage for Bachhauli. Follow the signs, and you will arrive at the resort. This is a scenic route, allowing you to enjoy the natural beauty of the area.
