Walking
If you are staying in Sauraha, you can start your journey by walking towards the Tharu Cultural Museum. From the museum, head south towards the main road. Continue on the main road until you reach the junction leading to Khairahani. Follow the signs to Khairahani village. Once you arrive in Khairahani, ask locals for directions to Kumroj Community Forest. It is located approximately 3 kilometers from the village center.

Rent a bicycle from any of the local shops in Sauraha. Start your ride towards the Tharu Cultural Museum and then head south to the main road. Follow the main road towards Khairahani.
