Getting There

• Walking

  If you are in Sauraha, start by walking towards the main road (Sauraha-Chitwan Road). From there, head south towards the Chitwan National Park entrance. Continue walking until you reach the bus stop at Sauraha, where you can find local buses or shared jeeps heading towards Gaindakot. Make sure to ask the driver to drop you off at Gaindakot, which is a short ride away. Once you arrive at Gaindakot, follow signs or ask locals for directions to the Narayani side, located at PC26+7X6. It’s a short walk from the bus stop.

• Bicycle

  Rent a bicycle from one of the many rental shops in Sauraha. Depart from Sauraha and take the main road heading south towards Gaindakot. The ride takes approximately 30-45 minutes, depending on your pace. Keep an eye out for road signs directing you to Gaindakot. Upon arriving in Gaindakot, navigate towards PC26+7X6. You can ask locals for assistance if needed, as they are usually friendly and helpful.

• Local Bus

  From Chitwan, head to the local bus station and look for buses heading towards Gaindakot. The journey can take around 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Gaindakot, disembark at the main bus stop. From there, you can either walk to the Narayani side at PC26+7X6 or ask for a rickshaw to take you directly to your destination.

• Rickshaw

  In Sauraha, hire a rickshaw to take you to Gaindakot. Make sure to negotiate the fare before starting your journey. The ride will take approximately 20-30 minutes, depending on traffic. Once you reach Gaindakot, ask the rickshaw driver to drop you off at PC26+7X6, the Narayani side.
