Walking
If you are in the town center of Chitwan, start at the main square, which is often bustling with shops and food stalls. Head south on the main road towards Ratnanagar. Keep walking straight for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the intersection near the Sauraha entrance. Turn right onto the road leading towards the Chitwan National Park entrance. Follow the signs to the park; it should take approximately 20-25 minutes to walk there. You'll pass various lodges and shops along the way.
Bicycle
From the main square in Chitwan, rent a bicycle from one of the local shops. Cycle south on the main road towards Ratnanagar. Continue straight for about 1.5 kilometers. As you approach the Sauraha entrance, look for signs directing you to Chitwan National Park. Head to the local bus station in Chitwan and find a bus that goes towards Sauraha or Ratnanagar. Confirm with the conductor that the bus stops near Chitwan National Park. The bus ride should take approximately 20-30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Sauraha stop, it's a short 10-minute walk to the park entrance.
