Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are in the center of Chitwan, start at the Chitwan National Park entrance. Head south on the main road, following the signs towards Ratnanagar. It’s a straight walk for about 20-25 minutes. As you walk, you will pass local shops and eateries, which can be a good opportunity to grab a snack. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with MG32 road. Turn right onto MG32 road and continue walking for another 10 minutes. You will see Shantikunja Park on your left side, marked with signage.

  • Bicycle

    For those who prefer cycling, rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Chitwan. Begin your journey from the center of Chitwan and head towards the Chitwan National Park entrance. From there, cycle south on the main road towards Ratnanagar. This route will take approximately 15-20 minutes depending on your speed. Upon reaching the MG32 intersection, turn right. Continue for about 5 minutes until you see Shantikunja Park on your left. This route is relatively flat and provides a nice view of the local scenery.

  • Rickshaw

    If you prefer a rickshaw, find one in the central area of Chitwan. Inform the driver that you want to go to Shantikunja Park in Ratnanagar. The ride will take around 10-15 minutes. The driver will take you along the main road towards Ratnanagar, and you will arrive directly at the park entrance. Make sure to confirm the fare before getting into the rickshaw.
