Walking
From Everest Base Camp, make your way to the main trail leading to Gorak Shep. Follow the path directly south for approximately 1.5 kilometers until you reach the junction. At the junction, take the right path that leads towards the Namche Bazar route. Continue walking along this trail for around 8 kilometers, which will take you down a scenic route with views of the surrounding mountains. After about 2 hours of steady walking, you will arrive at Namche Bazar, a bustling village and the gateway to the Everest region.

Once you are in Namche Bazar, navigate towards the Everest Base Camp Trekking Route. The Mount Everest Documentation Center is located on this route. Walk towards the main square of Namche Bazar, where you will find signs directing you to the Everest Base Camp trail. Continue on this path for approximately 1 kilometer. You will find the Mount Everest Documentation Center at RP47+2RH, which is a short distance from the main trail.

If you prefer not to walk the entire distance, you can hire a local porter or guide from Namche Bazar to assist you. The cost for hiring a guide typically ranges from NPR 2,500 to NPR 4,000 (approximately $20 to $35 USD) for a half-day tour, which includes their services and knowledge of the area. They will help navigate the trails and ensure you reach the Mount Everest Documentation Center safely.
