Getting There

Trekking
From Everest Base Camp, you will need to trek back towards the main trail leading to Lukla. The distance is approximately 62 km (38.5 miles) and could take around 2-3 days depending on your pace. Follow the trail that descends from the Base Camp, passing through Gorak Shep and then continuing to Lobuche. After reaching Lobuche, descend further to Pheriche and continue towards Tengboche. From Tengboche, follow the trail through the lush forests and picturesque villages until you reach Khumjung, where Sagarmatha National Park is located. Ensure you take breaks and stay hydrated during this trek.

Once you reach Khumjung, you can hire a local guide or take a short hike to the entrance of Sagarmatha National Park. There may also be options for local jeep rides depending on availability, but the park is generally accessible on foot.
