    From the center of Gorkha, head east towards the Gorkha Durbar Square. Once you reach the square, look for the main road that leads out of Gorkha towards the east. Follow this road for approximately 3 kilometers until you reach the fork at the intersection. Take the left fork which leads towards Ratnanagar. Continue straight for about 1.5 kilometers. You will see the sign for Tharu Cultural Museum & Research Center on your left. The entrance is well-marked, so you won't miss it.

    From the main bus stand in Gorkha, catch a local bus heading towards Ratnanagar. Buses to Ratnanagar are frequent and should take around 30 minutes. Inform the bus conductor that you are going to Tharu Cultural Museum & Research Center, and they will let you know when to get off. Once you arrive at Ratnanagar, look for signs to the museum. It is a short 5-minute walk from the bus stop; head south along the main road until you see the museum on your right.

    If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bicycle from one of the rental shops in Gorkha. Start by heading towards Gorkha Durbar Square and then take the main road heading east out of Gorkha. Continue on this road for about 3 kilometers, then take the left fork at the intersection towards Ratnanagar. After about 1.5 kilometers, you will see the Tharu Cultural Museum & Research Center on your left. Make sure to wear a helmet and be cautious of the traffic.
